About Me

Born and raised around Greater Manchester, Noah Needle is an emerging voice in the film and TV industry. Starting his career in 2020, being named as one of six winners of the Sky Drama Intergalactic Scriptwriting competition, Needle has since continued to grow and flourish as a writer.

In 2022, Needle's sitcom pilot, Roommates, was announced as a Semi-Finalist in the London International Screenwriting Competition. In 2023, Needle self-published his debut novel, The Secrets of the Lake, which has garnered positive reviews. Another novel followed, and Needle has recently concluded this middle-grade fantasy trilogy.

In 2024, Needle graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA in Filmmaking. His fantasy drama pilot, Children of Iron, was also named a Quarterfinalist in The Script Lab's Free Screenplay Contest that same year—and would go on to be named a Finalist at the Cambridge Script Festival later in 2025.

Currently, Needle is building his portfolio of writing, focusing primarily on TV and film.
